Instructions:
  1. In a bowl mix olive oil, chopped garlic, paprika, cumin powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt and pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken breasts are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover the dish and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but preferably several hours or even overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. While the chicken marinates, you can prepare the herQs thermometer. Attach the probe of the herQs thermometer into the thickest part of a chicken breast, without touching the bone. Make sure the probe is properly attached.
  4. Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the marinated chicken breasts from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for a while before grilling.
  6. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and close the lid.
  7. Grill the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature of the chicken has reached 75°C, indicating they are cooked.
  8. Remove the grilled chicken breasts from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the grilled chicken breasts with fresh lemon wedges on the side for an extra touch of freshness.

Using the herQs thermometer, you can accurately measure the core temperature of the chicken breasts and ensure they are perfectly cooked. The herb marinade adds delicious flavor to the chicken, making it a great meal for a cozy barbecue or a weeknight. Enjoy your grilled chicken breast! As always, observe proper food safety guidelines and ensure good hygiene while preparing food.
