You buy a fire pit for evenings you haven't had yet. The birthday that runs past midnight, the cold New Year's Eve, that one summer nobody wanted to go home. A two-year warranty doesn't belong with that.
A lifetime does.
Lifetime, what does that mean?
For as long as you own your herQs, we stand behind it. That goes for the fire pit and for the accessories, from the moment you register your purchase.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. And the thing that matters most with a fire pit: burn-through, cracks and warping from normal use with fire. A fire pit has to handle fire. If it can't, that's our problem, not yours.
You sit by the fire. We handle the rest.
Four customers, four fixes
These aren't our examples. Customers wrote them on Trustpilot themselves.
The ash pan that warped. Nick's ash pan on his first fire pit warped from the heat. He sent an email and, according to his review, received the upgraded part in thicker material within a few hours, free of charge. Read Nick's review
The rust that shouldn't have been there. William's Cozy started to rust after two fires. New stainless steel shouldn't do that, so it was a material defect. He emailed photos, heard back within a day and we replaced his fire pit. Read William's review
The handle that came loose. The handle on Rick's grill grate came loose. He reported it through the website and had a new part the next day. Read Rick's review
The ring that stayed on holiday. Stijn lost his safety ring on holiday. Not a warranty case, and he knows it. He got a new one anyway, free. Read Stijn's review
Four times the same story. You email, we fix it, you light up again.
What isn't covered
- Discolouration. Stainless steel colours in the fire: blue, gold, bronze. It says nothing about quality, only that you use it.
- Rust and weather. Even stainless steel can rust when it stays wet or comes into contact with salt. A winter unprotected in the garden is exactly that.
- Commercial use, such as hospitality or rental.
- Misuse, such as accelerants or using it against the manual.
What you do
Your fire pit asks very little. Empty the ash once it has cooled, because wet ash holds moisture. Store it dry in the protective cover that comes with it. Treat it like that and it lasts for years, and still looks after a season like it did on the first night.
You look after your fire pit, we look after the rest.
