Preparation

Instructions:

  1. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into a bowl.
Add the chopped garlic, olive oil, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
Mix well to make a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
Make sure all the chicken fillets are well covered with the marinade.
Let the chicken breasts marinate for at least 30 minutes, but preferably a few hours (or even overnight) in the refrigerator for a more intense flavor.
  3. Light the grill and preheat to direct medium-high heat (about 180-200°C).
  4. While the grill heats up, thinly slice the remaining lemon.
  5. Remove the marinated chicken breasts from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature while the grill continues to heat up.
  6. Attach the herQs Pin Pro to one of the chicken fillets.
Insert the pin into the thickest part of the chicken, making sure the tip of the pin does not touch the bone.
Set the desired core temperature on the herQs Pin Pro (for example, 75°C for perfectly cooked chicken).
  7. Place the chicken breasts directly over the heat source on the grill and place a few slices of lemon on each chicken breast.
Close the lid of the grill.
  8. Grill the chicken breasts for about 8-10 minutes per side, or until desired core temperature is reached.
Turn the chicken breasts halfway through the grilling time for even grilling.
  9. Once the chicken breasts have reached the desired core temperature, remove them from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
  10. Serve the grilled chicken fillets with the lemon slices on top for extra flavor and decoration.
The lemon juice adds a fresh and juicy flavor.
You can serve the chicken fillets with a side dish of your choice, such as grilled vegetables, salad, or potatoes.

With the herQs Pin Pro, you can accurately check the core temperature of the chicken and ensure that it is perfectly cooked and juicy.
Remember to always follow the safety guidelines for using a thermometer and ensure proper hygiene while preparing food.
Enjoy your grilled chicken breasts!
